Madam Hasrina Bt Abdul Rahman, a 24 year old police woman was paralysed at 24 weeks pregnancy with her first baby after contracting chickenpox 2 weeks earlier. She delivered at 35 weeks to a healthy baby boy at but remained paralysed  for 5 more months in Limbang Hospital. She lives in Limbang with her husband.

On 21^st October 2011 she heard Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was going to Miri and came from Limbang by ambulance to meet him. She met Datuk Seri Anwar on 23^rd October at Dr. Teo’s house. On the next day as she was about to board the ambulance to Limbang, Dr. Teo noticed that she was having ‘night sweats’ which is the characteristic of TB. Therefore instead of chickenpox paralysis it struck him the diagnosis should have been TB spine. She was given TB drugs and 2 days later she could lift her legs and 2 months later could stand up and walk!! She said she was fortunate to met Datuk Seri Anwar which saved her life. She visited Dr. Teo’s Maternity Clinic to thank the staff with her husband(see photo). She’s now fully recovered. She said the visit to Miri to meet Datuk Seri Anwar really saved her life.
