PKR Miri Salute Readiness Miri Chinese Chamber Of Commerce Industry (MCCCI) And Miri City Council (MCC) To Organize CNY Bazaar Bigger And Better Next Year.

People's Justice Party (PKR,Miri), through its Branch Chief  Dr. Michael Teo Yu Keng today praised statement which made by Miri Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry chairman (MCCCI), Datuk Sim Hock Guan recently. In the media conference previously Datuk Sim Hock Guan as saying that CNY Bazaar to next year 2012 will be larger and better.

Therefore we in Parti Keadilan Rakyat welcome good his statement and hopefully it (CNY Bazaar) will be organised like what he has said eventhougth in last state election BN-SUPP lost two seat Miri Parlimentary namely Piasau and Pujut to Pakatan through DAP and win Senadin seat with only 58 vote.

It is hard to accept that the Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) has taken the most drastic step of scrapping the money-making Borneo Cultural Festival (BCF) because of the Sarawak United People's Party's (SUPP) defeat in three Sibu seats in the recent state elections.

Among the losers were SMC chairman Datuk Tiong Thai King, who lost in Dudong, Vincent Goh in Pelawan and Chieng Buong Toon in Bukit Assek.

"Since the majority of the people in Sibu did not appreciate the work of the Sibu BN Visionary Team, we are therefore forced to cancel the BCF," Tiong was reported to have said.

Dr. Michael also hope CNY Bazaar next year more colourful, lively and exciting to fulfill the people wishes to liven up Miri city’s scene.
